About the event
The Engineering & Construction Expo will serve as the signature event for OSSE’s Engineering IAB and Architecture & Construction. This event will be a mix between a passport networking event and workshop with the hopes to have 15-20 partners supporting through the following means:
Networking table: Handing out business cards and discussing the steps they took to get where they are in their career.
Workshops/Demo: Displaying some new technology and showing how it can be innovative in the industry. Can also be a hands-on activity that relates to the foundations and/or curriculums needed for a student to have a solid foundation in the organizations respective industry.
Potential Panel Discussion: A discussion amongst some of the leading organizations in DC about what our students need to do as they are graduating and learning to navigate the next level whether that is education or going straight to the workforce.
